awww... I just read your husband's comment and just melted. That's so romantic. Reward the man! Anyway Since everyone's saying meaningful things I guess I should too. I'm one of sylvie's cousins. Growing up in St. Lucia I always marvelled at the wonderful life she and her sisters had. Whenever they came they were always so generous and nice which of course explained my almost hero worship of all of them, not that i let them know that of coourse
The one thing I will alwatys remember and be grateful to Sylvie for is this. Wen i was younger, I had a dream of writing the greatest novel. Of course I was no more than 12-14 but I finished it. I woroked hard on it and I asked for it to be typed. She was so nice about it that she typed it up and encouraged me. Of course I read the novel years later and realised that it sucked. Sorry but it really did. But the thing was that she could have said it sucked, but she didnt. Instead she and everyone else encouraged me and I remembered that so I spent the last 6 years practising and practising. Now I've finally finished my first novel and in a few weeks I will be getting myself a sending it out to a wonderful literary agency called Writer's House and hopefully I shall get the call saying thatthey will accept me.
The one thing that mattered though was the encouragement. It's what got me to stick to it so yea that's why even now when i havent seen her in a long time Sylvie is still one of the people i look up to. Well thats my mushy piece :)
Sylvie, my one and only, she is my wife and best friend. We met over 11 a half years ago and I always wanted to get to know the most beautiful girl in our school, but never dared to ask her. So she made the first step and this was the best thing that ever happened to me. Sylvie is an angel in a true sense, she is kind and loving and always forgiving. Her intellect and cunning is matched by no one I know, she cheers up all people around her and everyone wants to be near her. I consider myself the luckiest man on god's great earth, Sylvie thank you for all your compassion and friendship you have given me throughout the years. I love you endlessly my Butterfly.
well what can i say the first thing i can remember sombody saying about Sylvie is "that girl really think she have style".the "style "in my opinon was her intelegence, elegance, confidence and the higest selfrespect a young lady could have and as far as i know she has not changed one bit.i always knew that there was somthing special about Sylvie and i was right but just not lucky enough.I still consider myself fortunate enough to be her bestfriend after meeting up with her after all these years, just goes to show what true friendship can endure.Sylvie just wana say you have no idea how much you ment to me back then and in a different light how much you still mean to me now.Hope you have the best life possible cus you deserve it.
Sorry for taking so long to write ur testimonial. Sylvie and I grew up together by the laboushi until she moved away but we still remained friends. She is a great girl and anyone would be proud to be her friend. Loves to try new stuff especially in the kitchen. I don't remember her going on the rides with Daddy Bruce. These were good days girl. Life is good by her side cuz she makes things happen. Live the life u love girl and love the life u live.
She is a true dear friend and sister. She is talented, intelligent and a freind for keeps. She is a great dancer and singer. I hope she still is. A great role-model for character, career and sister.
