The Archdiocese of Miami currently collecting non-perishable food and clothing for Haitians devastated by the recent storms. In addition, they are taking up a special Hurricane Relief Collection in all churches and missions on the weekend of Sept. 28 for all the people in the affected islands. Below are the four churches currently accepting canned food items for Haiti.

CITY OF MIAMI / HAITI RELIEF

The City of Miami is doing a non-perishable food and clothing drive for victims in Haiti through Sept. 19. Food and clothing drops will be located at all City of Miami Fire Stations and Neighborhood Enhancement Team (NET) offices. Residents are encouraged to donate non-perishable items and clothing. The City of Miami is also partnering with Food for the Poor to distribute the donated non-perishable items. For those who wish to make a monetary contribution should make checks out to Food for the Poor and should include code #SC#057940.
